About the Role:

Green Folk is excited to be supporting a partner business in the regulated manufacturing sector based in Redditch. Together, we are on the search for a dedicated and skilled Production Planner who thrives in optimising production processes, ensuring efficiency, and upholding the highest standards of quality. In this critical position, you will harness your expertise in MRP/ERP systems to create effective production schedules that align with inventory targets and customer demands. Your ability to anticipate and solve potential scheduling conflicts will be key to maintaining smooth operations within a tightly regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise MRP/ERP systems to develop detailed production plans, ensuring optimal inventory levels and meeting customer delivery expectations.
  • Work closely with departments such as supply chain, production, and quality assurance to forecast potential issues and implement strategic solutions.
  • Adjust production schedules in response to material supply changes, demand fluctuations, and production capacities.
  • Uphold stringent regulatory compliance across all planning activities, contributing to the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.
  • Analyse production data, offering insights and recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Candidate Profile:

  • A proven track record as a Production Planner within a regulated manufacturing setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of the complexities involved.
  • Expertise in utilizing MRP/ERP systems to streamline production planning processes effectively.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Competitive Base Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum,

Fixed Day Shifts: Mon – Fri (Early Finish Friday)
