Central Manchester (City Centre)

This role is key to the ongoing expansion and creative development for our client – supporting the full life cycle of new business and pitches of one of the UK’s most exciting Global Brand Experience agencies.

With the support of the entire agency to call upon, you’ll deliver on the new business strategy securing new business leads, attending new business meetings, scoping new opportunities to ensure that are a fit and own the plan to convert them.

It will also include taking a pitch brief and managing the response through with our specialist inhouse teams to create something truly amazing. You will ensure the pitch responses are insightful, inspirational, achievable, on budget, on brand, on message, offer a genuine ROI whilst always pushing the boundaries of what our internal teams and clients think is possible.

Reporting directly to our senior leadership team, this high-profile role navigates, communicates and orchestrates between all departments in the business – as well as central functions – and manages teams working on responses and relevant internal projects.

There are few roles within the agency that offer the chance to work cross functionally with all of the teams right up to board level, so this is a dream role for the right person to develop global opportunities across events, brand activations and creative communications as part of a growing global brand experience agency.

Key Skills

  • Playing a key, senior role working within the New Business team at fresh, reporting into the Director of Client


  • You will be experienced in managing a sales pipeline on a CRM, securing new business leads in keeping with the new business strategy which you will work on evolving as needed to support the overall business strategy.
    • Excellent at being client facing in new business meetings, taking briefs and conducting Q&A sessions, presentations and pitches.
    • The ability to work closely with the in-house studio, content and communications, film and social, digital, production and account teams when working on pitches.
    • You will have an excellent attention to detail, this is key, as well as having strong organisational and communication skills, you must also have the ability to multitask, make decisions under pressure and manage timescales effectively.
    • Ideally have experience delivering pitches across a range of creative service offerings which can include some or all of the following: events, comms, campaigns, brand activations and exhibitions.
    • You will be able to demonstrate an ability to think critically and be the voice of the brief to ensure we are answering every element of it and showing added value and a winning edge at every opportunity.
    • You will have the ability to implement best practices and be prepared to challenge ways of working ensuring they are used consistently across the business.
    • If appropriate, supporting the Project team in building budgets for pitches and proposals working with the inhouse teams and where relevant agency partners and suppliers (ideal but not essential)

Experience needed

  • IT and Mac proficiency including excellent Word, Excel, Powerpoint and email
  • Confident at communicating and building a rapport with senior level clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational, work prioritisation and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and copy checking skills are essential
  • Can-do attitude with a willingness to take on responsibility
  • A real team player who’s self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with all divisions across fresh
  • Ambitious, wanting to progress within the agency

What you will learn

  • Management of new and existing client pitches of a huge variety of sizes and types
  • An indepth knowledge across events, creative comms and brand activations.
  • Vast experience working across multiple sectors including tech, automotive, retail, finance, hospitality, pharma, construction, education and public sector.
  • Global project experience for delivery across a wide range of global locations working with global brands
