Our client is a leading manufacturing business based in Herefordshire and as a result of business growth, they are now looking to recruit for additional Logistics Coordinators.

Logistics Coordinator

Key candidate background needed:

• Previous experience in logistics coordination, within an international import/export capacity
• Demonstratable experience in international trade, import/export operations or customs compliance
• Sound technical knowledge of Incoterms, trade regulations and global shipping documentation
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organisational skills

Position accountabilities

• Preparing necessary documentation for global trade such as customs documents and certificates of origin etc
• Supporting customer and stakeholder enquiries on post-Brexit customs requirements
• Managing end-to-end import and export actions ensuring regulatory compliance
• Driving and supporting continuous improvement initiatives around cost and service
• Resolving logistics and trade issues, maintaining delivery schedules
• Advising on customs tariffs, Incoterms and regulatory changes to stakeholders
