Our client is looking to hire a Fleet and Logistics Coordinator to oversee all fleet and inventory operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance in all fleet and logistics related activities. This role will take ownership and responsibility of managing a fleet of circa 40 vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained, serviced and road compliant whilst also maintaining inventory stock and managing all technical equipment.

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the acquisition, servicing and urgent repairs of a 40-vehicle fleet.
  • Manage operational readiness of vehicles including ancillary equipment
  • Ensure adherence to regular planned servicing and maintenance schedules
  • Manage urgent repair needs promptly
  • Maintain detailed records of all fleet activities including mileage, fuel and expenditures.
  • Manage motor insurance cover.
  • Manage hire contracts and leases.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory
  • Restock inventory where necessary
  • Proven experience in fleet or inventory management.
  • A strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and fleet management systems.
  • A strong ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with various departments.
  • Relevant certifications in logistics or fleet management are desirable.
  • Great collaborator – Works well across organisations and builds strong working relationships.
