£35,000 – £40,000 per annum

9am – 6pm Monday to Friday


A property management company are seeking the right individual to join their team as a Facilities Technician working at their Hounslow site but there will be occasional travel to a second site in Reading (client will expense fuel).

Must have background

  • UK Driving license & Vehicle
  • Basic Carpentry skills
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Experienced using a variety of hand tools
  • Happy to work at some height/confined spaces
  • Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be well organised and communicative
  • Ability to use electronic reporting software/ platforms (training provided)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Arrange work based on your scheduled visits at the location (notice to tenant if access to an occupied flat is required)
  • Small projects – e.g. minor carpentry improve.
  • Meet with third party contractors for direction and access.
  • Monthly utility recording
  • Advise the office if any materials need to be purchased.
  • Report all health and safety issues.
  • Redecorating communal areas.
  • Keep plant rooms and other building areas clean and tidy.
  • Keep an up-to-date inventory of all parts/supplies at each location.
  • Garden maintenance as directed.
  • Weekly fire alarm tests and recording
  • Emergency lighting tests each week
  • Report any alarm issues to the office.
  • Prepare pre-inspections and reports for all tenants in advance of their moving out.
