A market leader in machined alloy components for critical industries is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive commercial product strategy, financial oversight, and market positioning. As a member of the CODIR, this role plays a key part in defining business direction, ensuring product competitiveness, and driving profitability in highly regulated and performance-critical sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a commercial product strategy aligned with market demands, technological advancements, and business growth objectives.
- Manage budgeting, pricing strategies, cost structures, and financial forecasting to optimize profitability and competitiveness.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging opportunities to shape product positioning and differentiation in critical industries.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure product feasibility, manufacturability, and commercial success.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, refining product lifecycle management, cost efficiency, and commercial strategy to maintain industry leadership.
- Ensure all product offerings meet industry certifications, regulatory standards, and customer specifications, particularly for safety-critical applications.
- Provide data-driven insights, commercial analysis, and strategic recommendations to the Executive Committee, influencing high-level decision-making.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in commercial product management, business strategy, or financial oversight within machined alloy components, precision engineering, or critical industries.
- Strong expertise in financial management, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis.
- Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, cost structures, and operational efficiencies in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and financial modelling.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to operate at an executive level.
- Business fluency in French and English is essential for this position.
